With one of the first on board, QUT Motorsport is glad to announce that The Art of Stickers will be sponsoring us once again for 2012.
The Art of Stickers has been using its knowledge and skills to continuously create new stickers and associated ideas to suit customers since 2003.
With top of the range equipment and brand new facilities The Art of Stickers have been providing QUT Motorsport with quality stickers for four years. These products can be seen on our team trailer and Formula SAE car.
The Art of Stickers owner, Wayne Boustead has been part of the QUT Motorsport team since their early ventures. “We have been supplying custom stickers (decal & digitally printed) as requested by QUT for several years now.
It is a great opportunity to support a local educational establishment and to assist the students with their endeavours they wish to pursue,” he said. The range starts from magnetic car signs, white boards, colour digital printing, vinyl cut stickers all of which can be customised.

This is a picture of a sample acrylic sign that we have done for a customer, with access to laser cutting, we are now able to make a variety of different types of signage. With this one we reversed printed the Roman column onto a clear adhesive vinyl and laminated the back with white vinyl, this was then applied to 4.5mm clear acrylic and laser cut to create the shape of the column. It creates an effective piece and there are many different types of signs that can be done using digital printing and laser cutting. This particular sign is 700mm high, if the customer is satisfied with it, the final columns will be 1600mm high. If you require this type of signage, please contact us.

This little whiteboard has a digital print applied to it, it is covered with a clear laminate that repels whiteboard markers and creates an effective whiteboard solution that looks good and keeps the writing organised. We supplied this mobile double sided whiteboard for Kedron-Wavell Services Club in Chermside, Brisbane. The whiteboard has a full colour print and vinyl cut grids for th club’s raffles, as usual, the picture below says a lot more words than I can

We’re building a bar in our workshop, not only because it’s a good idea but because we’re Aussie and every workplace needs a bar to encourage productivity 
. We’ve been working out what to call it and have decided one name isn’t enough, one of the first names we have come up with is Beers, based on the 90′s American TV show Cheers. Because we have access to Vaccum forming and laser cutting, we made this sign as a test. It is vacuum formed and then has the vinyl cut logo style applied on top, we will improve this in time so watch this blog to how the bar turns out, there will be many more signs to decorate the bar….and many more drunken ideas!

We made this 1 metre x 2 metre vinyl banner for Jetts Fitness in Mt Warren Park. It is supplied with ropes and eyelets for easy fixing to any surface or poles. Vinyl Banners are great for temporary signage and are easy to put up and take down, they’re also highly transportable and easy to store without taking up much room. Contact us for vinyl banners.

We recently supplied and applied vinyl graphics for Dragon Shield Smoke Alarms in Brisbane. The logos and text are printed and contoured cut around design rather than being straight cut stickers with a background. The side sills on the car are wrapped with printed vinyl giving the effect of dragon scales to tie in with the name of the business. We made some masking stickers for a Spectron Panels, Underwood. The stickers were used to mask out the green that had been already painted onto the car. Once the mask was laid down, the top of the flame was masked and the bottom painted orange, then the bottom was masked out and the top was painted purple. Finally all masking was removed and clear coats applied.
